ADOPTION PROCESS

Ready for adoption?

Follow our steps

1. CONTACT US

If you're interested in our Ragdoll kittens, please fill out a kitten adoption form with a brief introduction about yourself, your experiences with pets, and any other relevant information. We prefer to meet face-to-face to get to know you and your family better. We will likely schedule a FaceTime session or a phone call with you to assist you in choosing your kitten.

2. UNDERSTAND HOW OUR RESERVATION PROCESS

JOINING THE WAIT LIST -- (PRIORITY SELECTION)

We are accepting families who are interested in our upcoming litters through our waitlist option.

Families on our informed list will be contacted within one week of the kittens’ birth and invited to place a waitlist fee to secure their position in the selection queue.

(The waitlist fee is fully refundable until a kitten is selected, provided the request is made with reasonable notice and a valid explanation (for example, changes in personal circumstances or timing). Once a kitten has been selected, the fee becomes a deposit and is non-refundable.)

At approximately 7 weeks of age, families on the waitlist will be invited to select their kitten based on their queue order. Once a kitten is officially selected, the waitlist fee will automatically convert into the kitten’s reservation deposit and will be credited toward the final adoption price.

This option offers priority selection and the best opportunity to choose based on preferences such as color, gender, and availability.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE --- PUBLIC AVAILABILITY

After all waitlisted families have completed their selections, any remaining kittens will be posted publicly on our website and social media platforms.

These kittens will be available on a first come, first served basis, and will be reserved by the first family who places a deposit.

This option does not include priority selection and availability depends on which kittens remain after the waitlist process is completed.

3. SELECT YOUR DESIRED KITTEN

Once the kittens are ready for selection (approximately around two months of age), you'll have the opportunity to visit in person (only after the administration of the first vaccine) or opt for a FaceTime session.

NOTE: You will have a maximum of 24 hours to make your decision. After this period, if no decision is made, the kitten will become available again.

4. PREPARATION

Once you've chosen your kitten, here are the exciting next steps:

  • Sign the agreement contract (kittens can only leave after the contract is signed).

  • Choose a suitable name for your kitten, as this is required for both the contract and the registration papers.

  • Prepare for your new arrival! We provide a comprehensive "owner manual" for first-time owners, which serves as a helpful guideline. Plus, we're always here to offer personal recommendations—feel free to ask us anytime!

5. WELCOME YOUR KITTEN

You will be notified once the kitten has received their second vaccination dose and is ready for pickup. We will provide you with one week's notice to make any necessary preparations. Depending on the situation, we can arrange a meeting at our house or offer delivery. We're happy to accommodate your needs for convenience, but please let us know in advance. Additionally, please be aware that we charge a transportation fee for deliveries to locations further from us.

When your kitten leaves our home, we will give you a detailed overview of their habits, likes, and what makes them comfortable. However, there are some essential general guidelines we advise all kitten parents to follow:

  1. Give Them Space: When the kitten first arrives at your home, it's important to give them some space. Overcrowding or too much excitement can be stressful for them in a new environment. Set up an area with water, food, and a litter box, and let the kitten come to you when they feel comfortable.

  2. Feeding Schedule: We feed wet food daily and provide dry kibbles with 24/7 access. Please continue this feeding regimen to maintain consistency for the kitten.

  3. Introducing Existing Pets: Do not immediately introduce the new kitten to other pets in the home. Keep them isolated for at least three days to allow them to adjust to their new surroundings without additional stress.

  4. Monitor Their Health: Keep an eye on the kitten's overall condition. If you notice anything unusual, contact us immediately.

  5. Veterinary Care: Schedule an appointment with your vet for the next dose of FVRCP and any other necessary vaccinations. The FVRCP vaccine must be administered within a month of the previous dose to remain effective.

  6. Bonding and Exploration: Allow the kitten to explore their new environment at their own pace. Begin bonding with them using familiar items from the "go home package" we provide, which can help them feel more at ease.

By following these steps, you can help ensure a smooth transition for your new kitten into their new home.
