But don’t let that initial shyness fool you — it usually doesn’t last long at all! Once he realizes he is safe and comfortable, he quickly opens up and comes over to greet you with curiosity and his sweet, gentle personality.
He is naturally very people-oriented and loves attention, so after that short introduction period, you’ll often find him staying close by, following you around, or finding little ways to make sure he is noticed. He enjoys being included in whatever his humans are doing and is definitely a big attention seeker at heart.
He is also extremely food-motivated and has absolutely no problem using his loudest little voice to “demand” his wet food when he knows mealtime is coming. His ideal routine is eating until he has a big, round, happy belly and then curling up comfortably in his little bed for a long nap.
